Whatever your motivation, the Green Fork project offers exciting hands-on introductory classes in creating fun, nutritious and delicious treats!
In 2009, participants learned about Fermentation, Cheese Making, and Tomato Sauce Canning and met some other local foodies in the process.
- Fermentation - Taste and make fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut, kefir, and ginger beer
- Cheese Making - Enjoy tastings and instructions on how to make simple cheeses such as mozarella and farmer cheese at home
- Tomato Sauce Canning - Make and can tomato sauce while learning about safety, equipment, and techniques.
