Conexions is working to build a world that functions for the benefit of all life. Recognizing that natural, social, and economic systems are all parts of an interconnected whole, Conexions develops and supports a variety of dynamic community-based projects. Conexions, a 501.c3 non-profit, is the successor organization to Foundation for Global Community, which traces its beginnings back to the early 1940s when Stanford law professor Dr. Harry Rathbun and Emilia Rathbun began San Francisco Bay Area community and university discussions focused on humankind’s relationship to the planet and its living systems.

Bay Area Net Impact: Professionals for Responsible Business is an influential network of more than 12,000 graduate students and professionals committed to using the power of business to positively impact the world. This innovative organization is fostering a new generation of leaders in corporate responsibility, social entrepreneurship, community development and environmental management. Bay Area Net Impact supports and inspires local members by helping them to develop their careers, learn new skills, share ideas, support local causes, and connect with like-minded people.

The Pacific Industrial and Business Association (PIBA) is a non-profit professional environmental, health, safety, and facilities management organization serving industry and business since 1952, and is one of the Bay Area’s most valuable resources for industry and business. The World Business Academy (WBA), inspired by Willis Harman and founded in 1987, WBA is a non-profit, educational organization, that has been actively involved in facilitating discussions on the role business can play at this pivotal point in history. The Academy uses a methodology that encourages honest interactions among its members, assisted by its fellows, and complemented by an ongoing series of educational publications. The Academy provides a forum within which business people can enunciate their desires to implement personal and enterprise transformation and enables them to network with colleagues engaged in making similar long-range sustainable decisions.
