Peninsula Permaculture is hosting an invitation only evening with Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm.  Joel is grass farmer from Virginia and has been featured recently in The Omnivore's Dilemma, and the films Food, Inc. and Fresh. Joel relies on the technology of nature to raise cows, pigs, chickens, and other animals and makes an impressive profit off of farming.
 
We are bringing together farmers, ranchers, and landholders in San Mateo County who are interested in creating ranches which use animal-based polyculture.
