Jan 28th event will be rescheduled - Sustainovation’s Green Eggs Breakfast Series takes a look at how green building solutions can help companies meet their sustainability goals. The speakers will share their experiences working with real clients to show how sustainable spaces can be a achieved and integrated into a company's strategy -- without breaking the bank and how service providers can help their clients met their sustainability goals. Whether you are a tenant, landlord, large established company or startup, this program will give you insights into green leasing programs, sustainable building design, and how tenants and landlords can work together to build green.

About the Instructor/Speaker: 

LouiseLouise Adamson, LEED-AP, K&L Gates
Ms. Adamson is a partner in the firm's San Francisco office, representing both corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of real estate and business transactional matters. She has substantial experience with real estate acquisition and disposition, leasing, financing, development, construction, and tax deferred exchanges.  Ms. Adamson developed a first-of-its-kind green leasing program which not only integrates sustainable building practices but also tracks the LEED rating system through each stage of the lease negotiation process so that the lease itself facilitates LEED certification for the tenant space.

 

Heather Ferguson, LEED-AP, Hawley, Peterson & Synder Architects
Ms. Ferguson  is a Senior Interior Designer familiar with the factors that affect the visual comfort, productivity, efficiency, and flexibility of interior and technical spaces as well as integrating sustainable alternatives and material evaluation and selection for these spaces. She has served as Interior Designer on a number of recent LEED projects including the Office of Hawley Peterson & Snyder Architects and XL Construction Headquarters, both LEED Silver, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and University of California at Santa Cruz Cowell Student Health Center. Ms. Ferguson is involved in a number of community groups, educating public audiences and students about the strategies and practices of Sustainable Building.

Kathleen Gilligan, LEED-AP, EcoStrategy Group
Kathleen is co-founder and partner of EcoStrategy Group, a consultancy that helps companies incorporate sustainable practices into their business operations.
During her career, Kathleen has consistently demonstrated an ability to gain market share in very competitive environments, ranging from early stage, venture backed start-ups to public companies.  She has built and managed teams in multiple industries, and has led global teams through significant change efforts. 

Kathleen is a volunteer chair for the Cleantech Open, a non-profit organization to accelerate the development of clean technology startups, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
